Banning USB

Many companies are starting to ban USB flash drives from the workplace.  USB flash drives are becoming smaller and smaller and cheaper for people to afford.  Because of their size and the security issues they may bring, many workplaces are banning their employees from using them at the office.  It is one of the best ways to steal company information without anyone knowing. Many companies have gone as far as disabling the USB ports on employee’s computers.  It may be a little extreme but some companies feel they have to take these steps in order to protect their information.
